The Control Tower of this historic air base houses a living memorial to the American airmen and their planes, based here during World War II. There are also displays on the more recent history of the airfield and on the surrounding area.

This is a friendly museum where you’re likely to be offered reminiscences and stories from museum volunteers, some of whom remember the war years themselves. There is space to picnic on the grassy areas near the control tower.

Recommended length of visit: 2 hours

Travel and parking
Follow signs for Seething and the museum from the A146 Loddon bypass, or for Seething Observatory from the B1332 Bungay Road.
