The Nelson Museum celebrates the life and times of Admiral Lord Nelson. Find out about his remarkable naval career, the sea battles he won, his Norfolk childhood, scandalous love life and untimely death at the Battle of Trafalgar.

Other good things to do near by Walk along Yarmouth’s historic waterfront and take in the fine town hall and ships visiting the working port. Head for St Nicholas Parish Church, the UK’s largest Parish Church, which has a fine interior and rich history.
The Nelson Museum is minutes from the Row Houses and the Tolhouse. Nearby, there is the lovely Portuguese bistro, the Quayside Plaza - ideal for lunch or a light snack. Complete your Nelson experience with a visit to the Nelson Monument.
Travel and parking Arriving in Great Yarmouth on the A149 from Caister/Norwich or A12 from Gorleston/Lowestoft, head along the quayside keeping the Town Hall on your left. Nelson Museum is on your left just past the library. Free parking next to the museum and on the Quayside.
