An essential introduction to the Norfolk Broads
The Museum of the Broads sits on the quayside of the busy Broads town of Stalham. It’s the only museum dedicated to the Broads and provides a comprehensive and colourful overview of this rich and complex waterworld.
You’ll find beautifully preserved Broads boats alongside fascinating displays on marsh men, thatching, boat building and more.
There are plenty of hands-on and family-friendly things to do, plus archive photos and films to enjoy. The lovely waterside setting is perfect for picnics.
Recommended length of visit: 1 to 2 hours
Other good things to do near by On Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays you can take a trip on a Victorian steam launch. Call the museum to book.
